ABOUT

 

SOCIAL CONCIERGE (n.) [soh-shuh l  kon-see-airzh] one who specializes in meeting a vast variety of needs and fulfills the requests of others utillizing their social ability and vast intuitive knowledge.

 

 
Established in the Earth since fall of 1987 as a gift to Mervyn Francis and Felicia L. Everett.  Born and raised in the Bronx New York, Leonitha Francis, or Leah as she is more commonly known, knows all too well the preparation and determination it takes to survive and succeed.

 

Leonitha (Leo-knee-tha) matriculated through the New York City Public School system as an exceptional academic student. She graduated Norman Thomas High School with academic and extracurricular honors in Debate and Business Marketing and attended Morgan State University as a Public Relations major. It was at Morgan State University, her social involvement grew and she became a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the National Council for Negro Women (NCNW). Leonitha also served as a member of the Girl Scouts of America, Inc. where she volunteered with through the Scholars Program of which she matriculated as well.

 

Leah is committed to community service and continuing the circle of giving, with an emphasis on young girls ages 12-18. Having led youth groups in her local church and worked alongside Terrie M. Williams and Xavier Artis (Stay Strong Foundation)Loreen Arbus (The Loreen Arbus Foundation)Gale Bershon (United Cerebral Palsy) and MarQuerita Story (Baptist Resource Network/These Are The Daughters); she has developed several gifts and practices necessary to effectively fuel and execute her vision of seeing young girls empowered to become great women.

 

Leah is an inspiration to many of her peers and colleagues, but she accredits her relationship with Christ for being her true inspiration and source. In addition to fashion, entrepreneurship, community service and mentoring; she spearheads LF Does â€“ her Social Concierge service company that meets a variety of clients needs. She has a few community service initiatives in the infancy stages to service inner city young women with experiences and resources to equip them for an empowering holistic life.

PRESENTLY... 

Keeping on the cusp of greatness, Leah is not one to stay idle, she keeps occupied with new hobbies, skill- building and venture ideas. 

 

In addition to operating LF Does, Leah is presently:

 

  • Completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

  • Independently mentoring young girls ages 12-18 years old and developing a community program cirriculum for young women.

  • Volunteering with These Are The Daughters and Black Girls Code.

PREVIOUSLY...

Thoroughout her life, more specifically since the age of fourteen, Leah has been afforded some unique opportunities that have helped cultivate her work ethic and entreprenuerial scope. 

 

  • Created Christian Couture -- a clothing line and multi-service fashion entity, offering fashion show coordination and production and model instruction.

  • Hosted Kingdom.Girl Chronicles.

  • Co-hosted KindgomFly Radio along side Ronald "Brother Ron" Cummings and Jayson "Jay Clay" Claiborne.    (2010-2012)

  • Reoccuring co-host on Stellar Award winning Radio1000's hit show The Zone. (2012-2014)

  • Interned with one of the most well respected publicists of this time, Terrie M. Williams, through her Stay Strong Foundation and The Terrie Williams Agency. Working alongside Terrie on the funeral services for famed actor, Ossie Davis; New York City memorial service for acclaimed lawyer, Johnnie Cochran; and the infancy stages of the Black Pain campaign.

  • Volunteered with the Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia chapter of the Baptist Resource Network through the Evangelism & Outreach division

  • Former Girl Scout of America member who matriculated from Junior to Adult level

  • Volunteered with the Girl Scout of Greater New York Scholars Program of which she matriculated as well.
